Prefabricated house with garden of Paralympian Sandra Paović

The garden of Croatian table tennis player and Paralympic gold medalist Sandra Paović and her husband Daniel Lazov on Zagreb’s Jarun

All the ideas and wishes of Croatian table tennis player Sandra Paović and her husband Daniel Lazov regarding their garden were realized by the team at Herbafarm Magnolija together with Ana Jurišić from the Urban Horticulture Design studio.

Since the day of filming was extremely hot, even a short stay in the garden of Croatian table tennis player and Paralympic gold medalist Sandra Paović and her husband Daniel Lazov on Zagreb’s Jarun was enough for us to experience all the beauty and magic of their green oasis in the middle of the city.

Namely, in addition to being prefabricated and having a luxurious interior, the house is adapted to all the needs of this couple with specific solutions, such as a lift platform and lower height of kitchen elements and furniture, and is also maximally connected to nature, which were their main wishes. So, for example, the lift platform has open views of the outer part of the entrance canopy with a roof garden, on which there are succulents, decorative grass and flowering guard houses. There is a vertical garden on the gallery, and a view of the living area also reveals a green beam with prepared plants. Also, the bedroom with bathroom is connected to the terrace, which is protected from the neighborhood and the views of neighbors by artificial ivy. However, an important part of the house is the garden with an exit from the dining room.

To decorate it, they contacted the company Herbafarm Magnolija, on the recommendation of Nikola Lučić from Spa Studio, who gladly accepted the challenge.

Considering the specific situation in which the owners have difficulty moving, the garden had to be designed to be adapted to them, their wishes and needs. Guided by this idea, together with garden designer Ana Jurišić from the company Dizajn Urbane Hortikulture, we created an implementation project based on the conceptual design of landscape architect Robert Dujić. – explains Tin Udovč, director of the company Herbafarm Magnolija.
